As good as it gets today

I needed to get out of the house yesterday, so we went out for dinner to my favourite Thai restaurant. The green curry chicken is amazing....

But I paid for it a bit over night with my first experience of what I guess is Braxton Hicks. The pain was so random that I did not get much sleep, so it's another quiet couch day today.

I think the nursery will have to be finished off AFTER the baby arrives...hopefully soon!

Oh the baby doesnt obviously like curry, lol! I remember when I had about 2 months to go with my 2nd pregnancy and I had braxton hicks for about 10 hours. My partner thought I was going into labour but no they stopped and werent very painful, just annoying and they went away the next day. I didnt have them again after that! The little garter stitch cardigan is very cute too, and I hope you manage to finish your nursery off.

When I read about Braxon Hicks, I thought it was a Jebediah album (www.last.fm/music/Jebediah/Braxton+Hicks).
Then I googled and saw it is nothing to do with music. I am clearly not ready to be a mother!
Hope you are feeling better. :)

Oh, I remember Braxton Hicks! They were never painful but they used to make my heart rate go up and I'd feel weird for a bit. I wonder if it's the start of your labour! They can get more frequent and stronger towards the end.

Good luck!

I'm sure that pile of lovely reading material will ease the pain! Best wishes!

Aw - I actually got to like Braxton Hicks the second time around - it was like practicing. First time around? Not so much. But yeah - that's kind of a sign. Progression - patience, patience. Tomorrow, huh? Can't wait.
